Frederick Irwin Anglican School (originally "Frederick Irwin Anglican Community School") is a private school located in Meadow Springs in Mandurah, Western Australia. It was founded in 1991 with 175 students, and currently has around 1,370 students from kindergarten to year 12. The school motto is "The Truth Will Set You Free." ==History== The school is named after Frederick Chidley Irwin, the acting Governor of Western Australia from 1847 to 1848. Irwin was a practising Anglican, a key figure in the Pinjarra Massacre who also helped to establish the General Board of Education. Irwin was also responsible for bringing the first missionary to Western Australian shores.
